One thing that gives Strats from the 50s with maple necks their unique look is their thin, single-ply white pickguards.
This set combines a genuine Fender Pure Vintage set of 1954-style short-skirt knobs, rolled-edge pickup covers, round-hole back plate, and toggle and trem-arm tips, made to the specs of the earliest Stratocasters, with our Absolute Vintage handcrafted, singly-ply white pickguard!
If you own a new Strat with a maple fingerboard, this is an easy way to give your guitar a more vintage-correct look.
Our pickguard is handcrafted from the correct .06 white sheet material, with 8 mounting holes like the originals. And we make them to fit any American Strat, whether it's an original, vintage reissue, Custom Shop, or a brand-new production model!
Available with these options:
-
Vintage Pattern: The eight mounting holes are in the same position as the original 1954 Strats and reissues of those models, both Custom Shop and production models.
-
Modern Conversion Pattern: Still with eight mounting holes for an old-school look, but the placement has been modified so that the holes line up with the modern 11-hole pattern. This eliminates the need to drill extra holes in your guitar.
-
NOS Finish: Not aged. The Fender Parts will ship in their original factory packaging and the pickguard will have the protective plastic intact.
-
LIX Patina: Lightly aged in our shop to have the look and feel of well-loved vintage pieces.
