2015 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard • Monster Top • CreamTone Vintage Design Makeover
CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson guitars.
This stunning Custom Shop Standard came in with a few parts already changed, so we decided it deserved our full makeover! It's redesigned and built with our genuine CreamTone parts. Every piece is handcrafted for the best quality and performance.
This beauty features an exceptional flame maple top on a solid mahogany body with no weight relief, and a rosewood fingerboard on a 50's neck profile. It weighs 8 pounds, 10 ounces.
The light Tea Burst VOS finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone!
It's important to note that this one is not a Historic Reissue, but rather an original Standard from the Gibson Custom Shop. We have assembled it in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar:
Hardware includes Grover tuners, our ABR-1 bridge with solid brass saddles, lightweight aluminum tailpiece, and deep anchor strap pins.
Electronics include our A3 Deluxe pickups and Jimmy Page Number One wiring harness.
Plastic package with lightly aged Historic rings along with our Absolute Vintage pickguard, truss rod cover, 59-60 style poker chip, LIX Patina speed knobs, and a polished cream toggle tip.
Notice the last photo was shot with the guard off. The wood is just too pretty to cover up! The pickguard will be shipped in the case.
Includes the Custom Shop OHSC, along with all the Gibson factory case candy and a CreamTone COA. The finish was given Gibson's VOS treatment at the factory, otherwise there are no breaks or repairs and the guitar and case still smell new!
The 2015 CS Standards originally sold for $6799, and very few had a top as stunning as this one. This is an opportunity to own a custom-built Gibson for nearly 2k less than the stock guitar sold for at the big-chain stores. But unlike those, this is a very special instrument you’ll be proud to take on stage night after night.
